A Couple of Dividend Increases
A couple of my stocks have had some dividend increases lately. Coca-Cola just increased their dividend from $1.12 per share/year to $1.24 per share/year – an increase of 11%. Further, in the last 10 years, Coke has increase their dividend at a compund annual rate of 10%. Exactly what I was hoping for when I bought the stock. I now receive a total of $37.85 per year in dividends from Coca-Cola.
Another one that increased for me was Pfizer. I have not owned Pfizer for long but shortly after I bought it the company raised their dividend to $1.04 per share/year from $0.96 per share/year. In addition, this will be the 39th consecutive year of annual dividend increases for Pfizer shareholders. Keep them coming.
