A New Look for The Dividend Guy

Well, I have been fussing around with the look of The Dividend Guy Blog and present to you the new version of the site, with some bugs still to be worked out! Please bear with me as I get these things sorted out.
If anyone is a coding expert out there (I assure you I am not!), then please explain to me why in Firefox the Sidebar looks fine, while in Internet Explorer, each of the entries have extra spaces between them. It is so frustrating! Your help would be appreciated.
Also, if someone can explain to me why I can’t change the color of the links under the term Sponsors in the sidebar I would be grateful. As you can see they are way too dark – nothing seems to work that I have tried.
Again, thanks for your patience as I sort the changes out!

This is my first time here (through pfblogs.org). I like the design on the main content half. But, I am not a big fan of black sidebar. I like the two colors (off green and off blue) on the upper part. May be you should run the little slice of gray all the way down and eliminate the black?
Also the little webring badge is bigger than the sidebar.
I have the same problem with IE versus Firefox. I just live with it.
