Every month I update a list of stocks on my watch list (i.e. Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc) with various pieces of data. Most importantly, on this list I keep the buy range that I have determined to be appropriate for the particular stock. It actually takes quite a bit of time to maintain this list, however I find that it is worth it because I have set limits that help me determine when a stock might be a good candidate to make a purchase.
I have decided to make this list available to the readers of The Dividend Guy Blog. However, as it takes a bit of time I thought it was only fair to get some sort of return from it (some sort of “dividend” perhaps!!!) Here is how it works:

Why Would You Spend Your Hard Earned Money on This?
I maintain a list stocks that have a history of raising dividends. Most of these stocks are on either Mergent’s Dividend Achievers List or the S&P Aristocrat’s List. I list key metrics such as Earnings Per Share growth, Revenue Growth and most importantly Dividend Growth. I also present a few key indicators of value such as comparing the current P/E to the historical P/E, the current dividend yield to the historical dividend yield. Most importantly, I show what my buy range is - the range of a stock price where I would be comfortable making a purchase. If I do happen to buy on of the stocks on the list, I will indicate that to you as well.
