Weekly Dividend Investing Roundup – June 7, 2008

Weekly Roundup

How was that weeks for a roller coaster ride? A roller coaster of emotions as the market skyrockets and then tanks – all within 48 hours. It is that type of market that really tests a portfolio and makes one realize the true importance of asset allocation and diversification. Once again I have to focus on the long-term view I have of the market and the fact that my strategy is sound. Easier said than done as emotions are a hard beast to put away!

Get Out of debt

If you're stuck in debt and trying to get caught up, don't resort to payday loans. They almost always have high interest rates, so if you don't pay them back immediately you will just end up in even more debt. In these tough times, it's better just to learn how to be more frugal with your money.
