Weekly Dividend Investing Roundup – November 23, 2007

Weekly Roundup

Thanks for reading this weeks edition of The Dividend Guy’s Weekly Dividend Investing Roundup. As usual, I will start with the carnivals and then move on to some articles I came across this week that were either dividend investing related or just plain good!

The Carnivals

1. Living off of Dividends hosted this weeks Carnival of Money Stories.
2. Moolanomy hosted this weeks Carnival of Personal Finance #127 – Wonders of the World.
3. Everything Finance put up the Carnival of Everything Finance #7.

The Articles

1. MSNBC has an article from the Motley Fool titled The Demented Dividend Guru, which talks about Jeremy Seigel sitting on the advisory board of WisdomTree. WisdomTree has some dividend based ETF’s that may be worth a look. I looked at WisdomTree’s small-cap offering awhile back.

2. Looking for some analysis on some stocks. My buddy Average Joe over at Dividends Matter post two – one for Suncor and one for ConocoPhillips – two companies playing in the oil and gas arena.

3. Tyler at Dividend Money wrote an interesting piece as a reminder as to three essential reasons to invest in dividends. Number 1: Dividends offer investors fantastic flexibility.

4. Obtaining wealth is not rocket science (although I am not rich!). Stock Trading To Go wrote about how to obtain wealth and hockey stick investing.

5. A few months ago I wrote a post about market timing. The Digerati Life gives the topic some more airtime. Make sure you take a look at the chart closely.

6. There are some good opportunities out in the market right now given the poor performance that has been happening. Grow your funds has provided us with 5 beaten down stocks.

7. You all know my viewpoint on investing internationally – it needs to be done. Moolanomy asks the question, How Much Should We Invest Internationally.

8. This one goes back a bit, but I just came across it. The Financial Blogger wrote about bank stocks being on sale – if they were on sale then, they certainly are on sale now!
