I would like to start a new feature here at The Dividend Guy that I must admit is not my own idea. It comes from one of my favorite investing blogger and his weekly “This and That” section of his site: Canadian Capitalist. I am going to call it The Weekly Dividend Investing Roundup (creative eh!)
As you would suspect, the Weekly Dividend Investing Roundup will cover topics specific to dividend investors and high dividend stocks. So with out further commentary, here is this weeks roundup:
2. Once again on the list, Average Joe at Dividends Matter discusses McDonald’s most recent dividend hike (50% – wow).
3. Not totally on the topic of dividends, but Greg at Donaldson Capital: Rising Dividend Investing wrote about the differences between Ben Bernanke and Alan Greenspan and the impacts that the two have had on markets.
4. Briefing.com has a list of 25 Dividend Stocks with Yields Over 4% that can be a good start for further analysis. As always, do not just go out and buy the stocks on this list without researching them first.
5. The Div Guy (this is not short for my blog name – it is another dividend blogger) wrote about getting free trades using Zecco.com. Low fees and portfolio performance can have a direct correlation. I have written about low fees here and here.
I hope that provides you with some good reading over the next couple of days.Google+
